Blepharospasm
Blepharospasm is a problem associated with the muscles that control eyelid motion. This problem may cause frequent blinking. In some cases, patients suffer what is referred to as "functional blindness" or an inability to open the eyelids for even a short period of time.
Strabismus
Strabismus, or crossed eyes as it is commonly referred as, is a disorder in which eyes are misaligned. This condition can occur over time or as a result of a head injury or serious illness. The slow onset is typically the result of loss of muscle tone.
